Change

Some people love change. For the most part, I am not one of those people. I love knowing what to expect and I love the comfort of a routine. However, other times I love change. I just finished another school year today which means I am done with this whole set of kids. In that case...I LOVE change!

But the biggest change I've probably ever gone through is happening this week and that is my decision to leave my church of 26 years. Tonight was my last wednesday night. Sunday will be my last sunday.

I'm way too emotional right now to even try to put a thought together...but stay tuned.

Stinky - you are a very committed person ... the same church for 26 years & the same checking account for 16!! I know this is hard for you, but I'm sure this is one of those cases where change will end up good ... just think you can be WHOEVER you want to be ... I've always thought that was cool.

Evan's going through a change with you too ... it's been 2.5 days of 'underwear' only ... just think if he stayed in diapers for 26 years!! Love you!

Good point, Mandi! ;)

Stace, you are the most loyal person I know. And you've done nothing but the best for RCOG. I believe that the way you leave a place is the way you'll be recieved...you were blessed going in, you're blessed going out AND you'll be blessed in this new place...

love you!

You're going to be great, wherever you go! Wow- so this officially means that NONE of us go to RCOG now? It's the end of a long era. I can't wait to hear all about it on Saturday!

Ooh, I hate change, too! I'm so with you there. I think you are very brave stepping out of your comfort zone here. Please, please come to church with me!!!!!!

I know, Staci. I feel the same way. I don't really have any great words of wisdom. but I do love you and your complete faithfulness in all you do.

Wow! That's big. 26 years is a long time, but we never know when or where the Lord is going to lead us next. I never thought we'd leave RCOG and it was a tough decision but it was clear that it was the right one.

You definately blessed our family with all your faithfulness, love and enthusiasm for the kids, Upward Basketball and ministry.

Staci, thank you for everything you have done for RCOG. I know that God has got some great new beginnings out there for you!
